Affiliated to the National Down's Syndrome Association
Four very exciting events we have danced at are 'The Stars' In Our Eyes at Her Majesty's Theatre in the West End, twice at Sadler's Wells Theatre and The National Down's Syndrome Association's Bollywood Ball at Canary Wharf. Comperes Cheryl Baker and Bonnie Langford and guest stars 'Billy and Honey' from Eastenders, have all been impressed by the professionalism of our dance group.

We think the last statement says it all.
Dance 21 dance group and Chelmsford Mencap Gateway Club, both fortunate enough to have Jean Hunter as their teacher, recently performed with Boswells School Adults and Students to provide two fantastic evenings of dance. Both nights were packed out and all received a standing ovation. The DVD, recorded live, shows an excellent coverage of all the dances performed - a wide variety from GCSE examination pieces, Show soundtracks through to Hip Hop. We are looking forward to our return next year.
You have to be there to soak up the atmosphere and see for yourself the obvious enjoyment our children get from performing. The supportive audience are always thrilled to share their experience.
Our group is now very much in demand due to the commitment of our dancers who put every effort into their dancing with continued support from their parents, families and friends. This is backed up by the enthusiasm and hard work from Jean and the committee of Dance 21.
